Cave Quest: Vacation Bible School 2016

The week of June 5th-10 was a great one at Guthrie Grove. We enjoyed Cave Quest, our VBS for 2016. The daily attendance was in the 120’s. Thank you to all of the volunteers and the congregation for helping to make it a huge success! The children (and adults) loved it. We are so thankful for everyone that pitches in for these events! During the week, we learned about how Jesus gives us hope, courage, direction, love, and power to help us out in our daily lives, through our daily bible story, memory verses, and activities. Students played games, made crafts, and enjoyed a snack and video. Joseph Partain taught the adult class about the seven churches in Revelation and the lessons those churches learned. We all need to strive to live our lives in such a way that God will be able to say to us: “Well done, good and faithful servant.”
